This four-story historic village house is located right in the center of Dolcedo and offers plenty of space for a family and guests. High vaulted ceilings, bright rooms, double doors, fireplaces and old floor tiles add to the charm of one of the tallest buildings in the village. An enchanted balcony entwined with ivy overlooks the river. The basement even contains its own cistern and the top floor could be converted into a roof terrace or loggia to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Dolcedo’s old town and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the leaking roof has caused water damage in the rooms, and some of them now need to be replastered and repainted. In addition to the roof, it is also recommended to renovate the façade and to install a heating system. The kitchen may also be in need of modernization. Restaurants, café bars, shops and public car parks are conveniently located just a few steps away. The coastal town of Imperia and its beaches are just 7 km away.

The four-story village house is detached on 2.5 sides and offers a total area of approx. 180 sqm net. On the ground floor there is a small entrance room and a cellar/storage room. The actual entrance on the 1st floor leads into a bright, large living room with beautiful traditional tiles and double doors to the leafy balcony, as well as to a bathroom and a bedroom with fireplace. On the 2nd floor there are three bedrooms, a large living room and a bathroom en-suite from two bedrooms. On the 3rd floor is the kitchen with an ancient kitchenette and two further rooms. A rather steep staircase leads up to the 4th floor to the future loggia offering fantastic views over Dolcedo to the village’s landmarks: the baroque church, the Maltese bridge and the river.

Position

The property is located in an alley overlooking the river, in the center of Dolcedo. You can drive right up to the front of the house to load and unload. There is a bus stop and public car park nearby. Dolcedo, the picturesque village on the river Prino with its baroque church, medieval bridges and alleyways, offers various shops, cafés and restaurants, a post office and a primary school/kindergarten. It is only approx. 7 km from Imperia with its numerous beaches, shops and one of the largest marinas on the Riviera. Imperia boasts the ‘best climate’ in Italy – mild winters and temperate summers.
