Layout

The village home with a living area of approx. 110 sqm net is situated on the ground floor and first floor of a traditional ancient house. The entrance and the staircase are shared with the neighbour apartment above. The ground floor apartment consists of an entrance hallway with two storage rooms to the right and left, three bedrooms (one of them without window), a bathroom with bathtub, a live-in kitchen and a central living room with a balcony, offering beautiful views. The façade of the house has been restored and double-glazed windows and new shutters have been installed. On the first floor there are two rooms of about 15 sqm completely to restore (one room plus a kitchen). The ancient olive oil mill of approx. 65 sqm is in the basement and disposes of its own entrance from the garden, thanks to the hillside location. It is currently used as a storage room and for the heating system. Magnificent vaulted ceilings, the grinder and millstones are still preserved. After restoration, a spacious tavern, a studio or similar could be built here.

The garden of approx. 225 sqm faces south-east and extends over 4 terraces directly in front of the house. Various small squares, paved paths and stairs, flower beds and fruit trees such as apricots, cherries, lemons and kumquat are surmounted by a pergola with seating and entwined by a kiwi plant, overlooking the well-tended garden. Position

The property is located in an alley (without stairs) at the entrance of Tavole, a quiet mountain village, 473 m above the sea level, in the upper Prino valley. You can only reach the house on foot or with a scooter, the nearest parking place is about 200 m away. To load and unload your car, you can stop at the beginning of the narrow alley, about 100 m away from the house. Tavole offers a restaurant, a small grocery shop and several bathing ponds in the nearby river. The road to Tavole is rewarded with heavenly peace and good hiking opportunities. Only about 2 km away lies the hamlet of Villatalla with 2 more restaurants. About 5 km away from Tavole, the village of Prelà offers a grocery shop, a pharmacy and some restaurants. From Tavole it takes about 16 km or 20 minutes by car to Imperia and its beautiful beaches. Imperia, which offers a marina and all the amenities of a seaside town, also enjoys the best climate in Italy – mild winters and not too hot in summer!
