Layout

The tastefully restored apartment on the ground floor of a traditional village house offers a net living area of approx. 90 sqm on one level. The entrance leads into the living room with an open-plan kitchen, a vaulted ceiling, a beautiful natural stone wall and some windows recalling Gothic pointed arches, which frame the panoramic view of the marvelous landscape.

There are also two bedrooms with a beautiful wooden ceiling and sleeping accommodation for four people and two small bathrooms, one with stairs. Both bedrooms have glass doors that open onto the terraced courtyard or a quiet lane.

The sunny terrace with seating and a pergola is situated next to the entrance and is surrounded by a piece of lawn. A few steps further, there is the pool and garden of the shared community, which consists of a total of four units and is rented out to tourists during the summer.

Position

The property is located on the lower edge of Novelli, a quiet, small mountain village above Tavole, approx. 500 m above the sea in the upper Prino Valley. The mill can only be reached on foot through small, sometimes steep alleys or by scooter, the nearest public car park is about 100 m away.

There is a restaurant in Tavole and several bathing ponds in the nearby river. The road to Tavole/Novelli is rewarded with peaceful tranquillity and good hiking opportunities. Valloria – the village of painted doors – is only approx. 1 km away and Villatalla with two more restaurants and a grocery shop is about 2 km away. About 5 km away from Tavole, the village of Prelà offers a grocery shop, a pharmacy and some restaurants. From Tavole it takes about 16 km or 20 minutes by car to Imperia and its beautiful beaches. Imperia, which offers a marina and all the amenities of a seaside town, also enjoys the best climate in Italy – mild winters and temperate summers!
