This traditional ligurian-style house is located on the outskirts of Valloria, which resembles an open-air museum thanks to its doors painted by various artists. There you will also find picturesque narrow streets, heavenly peace and a wide view over the evergreen olive groves down to the sea. The living area is conveniently located on one level, with many windows and high ceilings giving the rooms a friendly atmosphere. The highlight is the spacious terrace adjacent to the living room, which is half covered so that you also have a shady and sheltered place outside. The house has several basements, one directly adjacent to the apartment, others with their own entrances – all with interesting painted doors.

Layout
The traditional house, detached on two sides, has two floors:
On the ground floor there is a small cellar and storage room with a workbench and washing machine. The main rooms are located on the first floor. The staircase leads directly into the central, bright living room from which the other rooms depart: a kitchen with kitchenette and window, a small bedroom with a single bed and a very spacious bedroom with high ceiling and adjoining dressing room, which could possibly be used as a third bedroom. Directly from the living room you can also access the spacious outdoor area, from which you enter the small bathroom with a shower. The two large basement rooms or former stables have their own entrance doors and are partly below the apartment, partly under other houses. One of them could be restored and connected to the main house.
Outdoor area
The outdoor area of approx 16 sqm, is to one half a loggia (a covered terrace with big iron windows); the other half is a sunny, open area.
Position
The property is located on the outskirts of Valloria. You can drive up to 40m and a few steps in front of the house, but must – depending on luck and on season – park at about 50m -150m away and go through the village by foot. Valloria is a small medieval village, located on a hill in the hinterland of Imperia, with picturesque alleys and stunning views to the sea. There is also a restaurant and a “museum of forgotten things”. The special thing about Valloria: The whole village is a unique open-air museum with 151 works of art: 151 painted doors, painted throughout the years by internationally renowned artists. Within 4km you will find several restaurants and grocery stores. Valloria is about 25 minutes away from Imperia with its beaches, shops and over 300 days of sunshine a year.
