Layout
The village house on three levels has several entrances on different levels due to its hillside location. From the piazza an entrance gate leads to the spacious garage, including the basement rooms, where in addition to plenty of storage space, there is also the new house technology with a pellet heating and buffer. There is enough space in the garage for several scooters or bicycles, and the cellars are connected by an internal staircase. The main entrance can be reached via a few steps and a small terrace. On this level there is the approximately 40 sqm apartment, which has a living area with integrated kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom. It has access to a shared courtyard, and from there one can also enter the garden, which is about 50 meters away. On the upper floor there is the approximately 60 sqm large main apartment, consisting of a spacious living area with adjacent built-in kitchen, a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a walk-in closet which can be used as well as an office and two bedrooms, one of them with an about 4 sqm balcony.
Garden
The approximately 230 sqm, idyllic garden is located about 50 steps from the house. It is a completely fenced, south-facing, elongated plot of land with a dining and barbecue area, a pergola and a vegetable patch. Approaching the garden, one passes by the about 30 square meters large rustico made out of natural stone, which is currently used as storage space, but could possibly be expanded as a guest house.
Position
The property is located in the centre of Molini di Prelà near the church square and a restaurant. Molini di Prelà is located in the wide and green valley of the river Prino, surrounded by hills and olive groves. Also Prelà still lives to a good extent from the excellent olive oil of the area. There are several restaurants, bars, a pharmacy and a small convenience store. From Prelà many hiking trails lead into the hinterland, as well as to Dolcedo, which lies at about 2 km away; it is the central town of the Val Prino-Valley with further shops, restaurants etc. The county town of Imperia with its beaches, numerous shops and one of the largest marinas on the Riviera is about 9 km away. Imperia boasts the best climate in Italy, mild winters and not too hot summers!
