The authentic Ligurian village house with a natural stone facade consists of a part of a village house on three levels and a small apartment. It stands in the front row of the picturesque village of Valloria and therefore has a panoramic view of the valley. The main house is well maintained and is characterized by many old details. It is more suitable as a summer house because there are only individual wood stoves in both living rooms. The sunny terrace offers breathtaking panoramic views over the valley to the sea. The nice, small apartment, on the other hand, has low additional costs and is particularly suitable as a summer house due to its lack of heating. You can also enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from its balcony.

Layout

The traditional Ligurian house is situated on the edge of the village offering unobstructed views of the valley and a net living space of approx. 130 sqm on three floors. Through a shared entrance, you can reach both the main house and the smaller apartment. Entering the main rooms, there is a cozy living room-kitchen. On the same floor you also find the main bedroom. A spiral staircase takes you upstairs into a bright studio and to the terrace. On the ground floor, also accessible through another spiral staircase, there is the bathroom and a living room with a sofa-bed, a kitchenette and a dining area, ideal for guests because of a separate entrance. Through the shared entrance, entering the apartment, you reach a luminous living room-kitchen and the bathroom, followed by the bedroom. The high ceilings make the rooms more spacious. On the balcony, which offers unobstructed views of the valley, you also find a small covered space.

The property is located on the lower edge of the village of Valloria. A bus stop and public parking are nearby at the village square. For loading and unloading, you can drive up to 20 m to the house.

Valloria is a small medieval village, situated on a hilltop in the hinterland of Imperia (municipality of Prelà), with picturesque alleys and beautiful views all the way down to the sea. There is also a nice restaurant and the “Museum of Forgotten Things”. The whole village is a unique open-air museum! Art lovers will find 151 works of art here: 151 painted doors. They are stable, shed, and cellar doors, painted by renowned artists during the summer festivals held annually in Valloria. More restaurants and grocery shops can be found in Molini di Prelà (about 4 km away) and Dolcedo (approx. 6 km). Valloria is only about 15 km away from Imperia with its numerous beaches, shops and one of the largest marinas on the Riviera. Imperia boasts Italy’s “best climate” – mild winters and temperate summers.
