The picturesque, medieval hilltop village of Ripalta was once a refuge from pirates and is now very popular with international guests thanks to its idyllic location. It consists of about 60 houses and typical small alleys and towers over Dolcedo, the central town of the Valprino Valley, where you will find shops, restaurants and cafés that are just a few minutes away by foot. It’s only about 7 km from the sea and the beaches of Imperia, the city with Italy’s best climate – mild winters and not too hot summers. Genoa and Nice airports are about 100 km away.
