Valloria is a small medieval village, situated on a hilltop in the hinterland of Imperia (municipality of Prelà), with picturesque alleys and beautiful views all the way down to the sea. There is also a nice restaurant and the “Museum of Forgotten Things”. The whole village is a unique open-air museum! Art lovers will find 151 works of art here: 151 painted doors. They are stable, shed, and cellar doors, painted by renowned artists during the summer festivals held annually in Valloria.
More restaurants and grocery shops can be found in Molini di Prelà (about 4 km away) and Dolcedo (approx. 6 km). Valloria is only about 15 km away from Imperia with its numerous beaches, shops and one of the largest marinas on the Riviera. Imperia boasts Italy’s “best climate” – mild winters and temperate summers.
